Support and contact

Last updated August 27, 2026

One person reads this inbox, and it is the fastest way to reach us. Tell us what you shared with Tee, what you expected, and what you got instead. A screenshot and the link you saved usually answer the question before we have to ask.

Email us

[email protected]

We answer within two working days, and usually the same day. There is no phone line and no chat widget: email is the only support channel, so nothing gets lost between them.

Manage or cancel Tee Pro

Tee Pro is billed by Apple, so it is cancelled in the App Store, not in Tee. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, pick Tee and cancel. Cancelling during a free trial stops it before you are charged. Refunds are Apple's to give: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. What Pro covers is set out in the fair-use policy.

Delete your account

In Tee, open your profile and choose Delete account. It removes your account and everything on your shelves. If you cannot get into the app, email us from the address on the account and we will do it for you. The privacy policy says what we hold and for how long.

Something came back wrong

Hide or delete the result from the shelf and it is gone. If Tee keeps getting the same video wrong, send us the link: mistakes on a specific video are usually fixable, and we would rather see them.

Questions we get most

What if the video never says the name out loud?
That is the normal case. Tee also reads the text on screen and the caption, so a name only has to appear somewhere. It rarely has to be spoken.

Does it work on videos I saved a long time ago?
Yes, and it is the best way to try it. If you can still open the video and hit share, Tee can read it. Pick something from months ago and see what comes back. Videos are capped at three minutes.

What if it gets something wrong?
Hide it or delete it from the shelf and it is gone. Checking every name against a real catalogue stops most of the near misses, but if a video mumbles a title, Tee can mishear it too.

Which languages does it handle?
Eleven, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Polish. The summary comes back in the language the video was spoken in, not translated into yours.

Do I need to keep the app open while it works?
No. Share it and carry on scrolling. Tee works in the background and pings you when it is done.

How much does it cost?
Two videos a day are free, and no card is needed. You do need an account: it takes a few seconds with Apple or Google, and the same account works across your devices. Tee Pro removes the daily limit at $6.99 a month or $59.99 a year, and starts with a free trial of 7 days on monthly or 14 on yearly. Prices shown are US; your own store sets the local equivalent. Our fair-use policy says exactly where the Pro limit sits.
